What is the Evil Eye?
The evil eye is said to be caused accidentally by envy or praise. It can also be caused intentionally by another’s envy or jealousy.
The original belief is that any person can harm you, your children or any other evidence of prosperity just by looking at the spoils of all your good will and hard work with envy.
